Are You a Facebook F(r)iend!*
What to do if you receive a Friend Request from An Entity with 2,000 cyber friends, or even 5,000? Turns out, more than a few are adding to their own massive marketing lists, and NO intention of a two way virtual interaction with their newly acquired friends! Most (not all tho') I have come across appear to solicit followers, and thousands of them.
No Thanks.
Is it about quantities of pitched-for numbers, or quality of collaboration? What do you think?
I used Facebook as a writing and advocacy platform, and have no wish for tons of so-called followers because I am interested in Truly connecting with creative and open-minded people, one on one. I used to have hundreds of Friends online but now I have a smaller Circle leading to exchange of ideas, and laughs most days. The posts and other content/comments should speak for themselves AND/or when shared in private educational groups worldwide.
Our friend Isaac, who manages/advises on my social media/author gigs, has taught me about sticky algorithms that go Bump in the Night, and their occasional Silent Hacking Tentacled Progenies. AND after reading Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Brittany Kaiser's book titled Targeted, our knowledge of using Facebook and other online joints has expanded outreach 4 autonomy.
