Meet George - based on a Real Life Genius Author*
Dr Wayne Dyer wrote on Social Media shortly before he died that this incredible author/person was his most generous friend and biggest influence. He did, I swear. Wayne described how they spent a week together in the jungle as warriors in the mist, and how it was so much fun to be with him.
What more can I say? George, as I have called him, was a lovable rogue, personality plus, quantum physics expert, and way too intelligent for his hot pants. He loved Ireland because of all the funny people and geometric perfections on the Island. He was always looking for an excuse to visit, or live there. Building. Castles. In. The. Air.
His early work is mind-bending and brilliant. I still listen to him on YouTube. He always makes me laugh and could easily have made a fortune as a stand-up comedian. He was from a family of elite performers!
George, this character in my book Creating with a Bang, is based on how I imagine him to have been in real life, and close to me, very close. It was so much fun writing George. I love George and he is often my hero. But don’t be fooled he doesn’t always go in the right direction and mistakes are just part of the confusion of creation. Will George fall to bits like the rest of us, a sorry lot, or will he work out the mistakes? Read the book from cover to cover and you’ll find out at www.hunterksmith.com.
Do you ever dream or day dream that you have a kind of guardian angel of some description who will take you out of the poo instantly, no questions asked? George is my guardian angel of sorts. I talk to him about all sorts of stuff and he gets it, always. That’s m’boy.
I was told by my parents that I had an imaginary friend as a young child whose name was Darling, and Darling HAD to come everywhere with us. My mom often told how she took me to Dublin to buy me a pair of shoes as a four-year old and I screamed the shop down because she wouldn’t buy a second pair for Darling who had no shoes on that day! Cold. Feet. Well George has turned into my Darling and we hang out about three days a week.
George communicates with Lulu through barcode scanners, lasers and through her dreams. Lulu seeks out his help but oftentimes she’s on her own as free will is not to be messed with in the chaos OR perfection of creation. Let. It. Be.
