ACTIVISM Equals Freedom 2020 - Are You In OR Are You Out?*
I used to smile smugly through a non-judgmental face. I couldn't be bothered getting involved in anything where answers were few and Control was shrewdly advertised OR held in abeyance. It was all too hard. I'm alright Jack. Who cares? It'll work out in the end. It's meant to be! Dying. To. Be. Lied. 2.
NOT ANY MORE. Once I became AWARE that our very life depends on our step-by-step input into every minute consumer detail, our activism no matter how small, the air we breath, the food we eat, as well as preventable disease dumping itself all over my family and (I suspect) killing my parents, I chose the Freedom of Scrutiny. Instant. Relief. And. Results. Questions were meticulously researched, debated, regurgitated, spat out, and laser vision followed like a brand new Puppy dog. Easy. On. The. Eyes.
Our arrogance as a sometimes intelligent selfish stupid species is truly cringe-worthy. What will our grand-kids call us in years to come? A. Pack. Of. Plonkers. I look at the youth of today wonder-struck with respect KNOWING they will probably do a smarter job of running the joint than we have. They will stop the Traffickers of Emotional and Physical Carnage, just because. Young. Adults. Rock.
David Attenborough, the humanist. Read his quote: The question is, are we happy to suppose that our grandchildren may NEVER be able to see an elephant except in a picture book? Does that sentence sit okay with you? Because it makes ME Aware and burns my activist fires into (not my ego!) to Boiling Point, and Action. Are you willing to Speak Up for your family's future, with me?

You know my friend George, well his friend Harry told me he shies away from taking the moral high ground and I squirmed when he said this because he's right! BUT maybe there's the conundrum. The balance and harmony of Awareness. What works for you? George and Harry make the Balance look easy. George makes everything look easy. There is nothing he can't do with one of his Smiles to light up my life!
Who is successfully running the World? Do you know? There are numerous outstanding politicians/leaders, and a few others... Lights on, NO ONE Home. It's DOWN to Each Individual. We can Produce and Perform @TheRegenerationRevolution.
Do we need to smarten up and vote with our feet, hint the greedy tax evaders to give back their ill-gotten gains? If we don't eradicate paying Employees to FATTEN up and kill so-called food along the chain to serve up dead corpses of sentient animals, there will be nothing left in the world to fight over. Dead. And. Gone. Gone.
The sad or happy thing is we can repair large amounts of this damage. It's not Rocket Science... If we simply tune in to where our money is being spent especially handing it over (like an innocent four year old) to a few Suits and High Heelers, the inter-connection between employers, slaves, and the rest of us, will alter forever. Assertive. Action.

One good example: It is hard to fathom the endless negative media regarding Australian Unions. Why is the Big End of Town so terrified of Unions? These are some Courageous citizens like Sally McManus in Australia, who is trying to change laws to protect workers' BASIC and SAFETY rights. Are you a worker cunningly advertised to, by elements of the media? Do you believe that unions are the root of all evil? Think. Again. There's no Fool like an Old Fool! Be. Informed.
As an animal/human rights activist, I have met Brave, intelligent, loving people, making sensitive activism decisions every day which can and will lovingly affect the lives of our sacred animals, friends, families and children. My only wish is that I'd met them sooner.
